Contessa is the puppy who won our hearts with her cheeky and confident personality. Although it had not been our plan to keep her, once she was on my knee on the journey to Scotland from her litter in Wales she made it her ambition for us to be owned by her! Her father is our own INT Multi CH Walamadengie Awesome and the pairing with her mother Rhoda Alfreya produced a lovely litter full of promising puppies.

Since she came home with us she has been the whirlwind that we have never experienced before. She has broken all the rules, such as sleeping in our beds! She takes longer to look after than all our other ridgebacks put together, but in spite of that we would never part with our lovely new girl. She has a wonderful outlook on everything she comes across. She loves all that she meets.

She went on her first trip over to Ireland at the tender age of nine weeks old to get a taste of the show scene. She decided that she liked it and would be happy to take part!. At the tender age of six months and four days she went to her first show as an exhibit. This was Bournemouth championship show where she qualified for crufts at her first outing! Her next show was a week later at the World Congress show in Ireland where she wowed the crowd with her antics (throwing her rosette that she had won into the air and promptly catching it! ) and really enjoyed her day. She went on to exhibit for the rest of the week in horrendous weather conditions and was not in the least bit fazed. We are sure our cheeky girl with a tremendous outlook on life has a bright and promising future.
