Kruger was the first of our dogs who we were able to campaign in the show ring and he did us proud.  We campaigned him in Ireland and he won 8 Green Stars, 2 Best of Breeds, 1 Best Opposite Sex and 1 C.A.C.I.B.

He also has a Reserve challenge certificate and on the day of his retirement Kruger was handled by our daughter Candice and won Best Veteran at Darlington Championship Show September 2003.

Sun 25th February 2007 was the day Walamadengie Kennels lost our beloved Kruger. He passed away peacefully in his sleep in the afternoon sunshine.

Kruger was definatly a mummy's boy, and loved me unconditionally and we are devastated at losing him. He was the kindest of dogs and my soul-mate. There will never be another like him. He knew what i was thinking at all times and his purpose in life was to please me.

At home he was the king and the other males gave him total respect. He lived in perfect harmony with his two daughters, Two granddaughters, Grandson and two great grandchildren. We will all miss him terribly.

He gained his Irish title at the St. Patrick's show 2003 when he was a veteran and visions of him parading around the show minus a collar or lead will remain in many people's memories. He retired from the show scene at Darlington 2003 having won the veteran class on the same day that his two grandchildren won their respective classes.

It is perhaps ironic that on the same day three of his great grandchildren made their debut on the show scene that he should pass away. Never forgotten & Never Replaced.
